Blogger Extraordinaire Jane Aldridge

January 12, 2010

Jane Aldridge has become a virtual celebrity in the past year by blogging about her own personal-style.

“In light of the meteoric rise of her personal-style blog, Sea of Shoes, Jane Aldridge is completing her senior year via online classes.  How else would the Trophy Club, Texas-native keep pace with the frenetic schedule that includes meetings in Philadelphia with Urban Outfitters execs for her self-designed shoe collection, near daily photo shoots with her mother to sate the appetite of her style-hungry fans (outfit changes occur a minimum of four times a day), and whirlwind trips to Paris at the invitation of Chanel?  When Mr. Lagerfeld calls, you answer!”  Teen Vogue Feb 2010

The Teen vogue article includes collaboration between Jane, her mother Judy, and Gryphon’s Aimee Cho to create an edgy trench for the “Indie-cool” brand Gryphon.  The final product can be seen below and purchased for $850 beginning of Feb.

” How killer are the bell sleeves?  Totally captures the post-apocalyptic aviatrix vibe my mom and I were aiming for, ” said Jane click here to read her blog post.

Janes mother, Judy Aldridge, also has a blog featuring daily photos of style:  Atlantis Home.
